Google inks TV ad deal with NBCU

Google will begin selling ad spaces on certain NBCU cable channels in its second major TV ad deal after teaming up with Dish Network last year.

Advertisers will be able to buy ad spaces on NBCU’s Sci Fi, Oxygen, MSNBC, CNBC, Sleuth and Chiller channels on Google TV Ads online platform.

The partnership, set to become effective in the coming months, will see Google and NBCU share revenues from ad sales. The companies will also work together to adapt Google TV Ads for selling ad spaces on local TV channels.
