In the U.S. alone, the casual gaming market is set to double in only two years, according to a new industry report from Pacific Crest Securities analyst, Evan Wilson. Wilson estimates that the US casual business will hit $725 million in 2008, up from $375 million in 2006. He expects casual games to be the primary industry growth driver for 2008 and beyond. Worldwide, the market is expected to reach $1.6 billion.
