IPVG unit inks gaming deal with Chinese game developer and operator Perfect World

The gaming unit of information and communications technology group IPVG Corp. has entered into a licensing deal with Chinese game developer and operator Perfect World Co. Ltd., IPVG told the stock exchange.

IPVG said that under the deal, IPE-Game Ventures Inc. will hold the license for Perfect World’s “Zhu Xian” game in the Philippines.

Perfect World develops 3D online games based on the proprietary Angelica 3D game engine and game development platform. The company’s current portfolio of self-developed online games includes complex 3D games called massively multiplayer online role playing games (MMORPG), as well as a casual game called “Hot Dance Party.”

IPE-Game operates the online gaming business unit of IPVG. It has the exclusive distribution rights to the MMORPG RAN Online, casual games O2Jam and Audition, Supreme Destiny and the Korean game Granado Espada.
