Digital ad network Adcentricity raises USD2.9m from Propulsion

Outdoor digital advertising network Adcentricity has raised CDN3m (USD2.9m) in a Series A funding round led by Propulsion Ventures, a subsidiary of Canadian telco Telesystem.

The Toronto-basedd company provides ‘Digital Out of Home’ signage advertising services in North America and covers 16 categories of signage venues, including health care and hospitality, with more than 70 network partners.

Users are able to purchase digital signage as a single transaction, with Adcentricity claiming a streamlined plan purchasing system that allows targeting via geography, demographics and channel choice. The company will use the funds to boost sales efforts, expand network partnerships and invest in new product and service research with collaborating partners and advertising firms.
