Nurien Software is receiving USD15m in Series A funding from a consortium of US and Chinese investors, including Globespan Capital Partners, Northern Light Venture Capital, New Enterprise Associates and QiMing Venture Partners.

Nurien develops virtual world social networks using 3D avatars and objects, building a 3D MySpace service for users to interact and share media.
