Video games social network GamerDNA gets USD3m funding from Flybridge Capital Partners

Video games-focused social network GamerDNA is receiving USD3m in Series A funding, with the round led by seed investor Flybridge Capital Partners.

GamerDNA was previously known as GuildCafe Entertainment and the firm operates the MMOG social site that allows gamers to congregare and discuss their games as well as form Guild profiles or Clan pages for first person shooter games.

The funding will be used to roll out a new gaming community service called that will cater to a wider market than, which will continue as a seperate site but benefit from the new technologies and functions being rolled out with is currently in private beta, with a public launch expected later in the year.
