MySpace India launches

Following its lanch of its South Korean portal, MySpace is rolling out its localised site for India and announcing content partnerships.

MySpace India is launching with a rock concert in Mumbai and associated promotional activities and the company says the site will content localised features that allow it to adapt to the unique Indian social networking community.

Major Indian TV network Star TV is being announced as a site content partner and will contribute original content to be distributed through the social network and possibly its international counterparts. MySpace also announced it is holding a Developer Platform workshop in Bangalore on April 21 to engage local developers in making applications for the local site.
