AdBrite launches open platform ad exchange

AdBrite is launching is Open Targeting Exchange (OTE) to provide a competitive online means of marketing ad targeting technologies and algorithms. The open platform service allows ad providers to use OTE to promote their products, with real-time bidding used to compete for spots in AdBrite’s inventory.

Ad targeting options covered by the service include geographic, demographic, retargeting, contextual and behavioral, and provides detailed information from participating users to provide data on which formats are most successful with given target markets, allowing aggressive competition between providers.

Ad network Lucid Media and ad targeting and optimisation firm Personifi are launch partners for OTE, with AdBrite saying that almost 25 new partners are currently being evaluated, with more expected to be constantly added to the platform.
