Online marketing solution company Coremetrics gets USD60m funding

Digital marketing optimisation firrm Coremetrics is receiving USD60m in Series E funding, with the round led by 3i. Existing investors Accel Partners, Highland Capital Partners and FTVentures also took part in the round.

Coremetrics provides Software as a Service solutions to over 1,000 businesses to boost their online marketing operations, including search engine bid management, application cross-selling tools and email marketing solutions.

The company claims to have grown its client base by 46% in the last year and says the funds will be used to boost sales efforts, focusing on the Asian and European markets, and widen the scope of its own self-marketing.
