Online ad inventory startup AdGent 007 intends to boost its sales team and launch an online ad marketplace after raising USD5.3m from CM Capital, of which USD5m is declared as a Series A investment.
Founded late last year, AdGent 007 provides location-based ad inventory services for premium brand sites worldwide.
Its network helps publishers manage ad streams globally rather than through geo-specific ad networks. AdGent 007, which is based in San Francisco with offices in the UK and Australia, is hiring sales teams for regional support, starting with Europe. It also intends to launch an online ad marketplace that will allow international ad inventory purchases, as well as a service dubbed â€˜The Optimiserâ€™. This will allow direct matches between clients, ad networks and consumers through a single interface.
