Chinese onlinecommunity for mothers Yaolan.com (BabyCare) is receiving USD17.1m in Series C funding. Foundation Capital and NSA Investments were new participants in the round, joining existing investors Chengwei Ventures and Sutter Hill Ventures.

The company has raised a total of USD26.1m since 1999. The site focuses on providing information and support for pregnant and nursing mothers and offers Chinese-language only services equivalent to western sites such as CafeMom, allowing mothers to post pictures of themselves and babies, participate in polls and community events, and find relevant childrenâs products.
